As part of the Blue Door team, you'll coordinate programming efforts in Durham Region, fostering connections with community organizations and service providers. Your background in social work, combined with your solid communication skills, will be essential to ensuring that the needs of vulnerable populations are met through effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and strengthen partnerships within the community
• Coordinate and implement programming and community initiatives
• Assess service needs and implement targeted solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting requirements
• Represent Blue Door at community meetings and initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or similar area
• At least 3 years of experience in a related role
• Familiarity with homelessness and mental health challenges
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required
