Roto Rooter is a leading provider of plumbing and drain cleaning services and is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Sewer Drain Technicians, this is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and advancement with our organization.
A valid driver's license is required, willingness to work in varying weather conditions and potentially confined spaces and have physical stamina to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or kneeling you can thrive in this job. This job includes a 4-week rotation of on-call duties once training is completed.
Job Responsibilities
Perform sewer drain cleaning tasks using industry-standard tools and equipment
Safely and efficiently operate sewer cleaning machines and equipment
Diagnose and resolve sewer line blockages, obstructions, or other related issues
Conduct inspections to assess the condition of sewer systems and identify potential problems
Responsible for completing all jobs and collecting payment for services rendered
Candidate Requirements
Prospective employees will be required to pass a criminal background check
Must have a cell phone
Able to talk to customers in an informative pleasant effective way
Driver's license abstract required
Positive attitude
Dependable
Reliable transportation
Able to lift 120 LBS
Physically fit
Positive writing and communication skills
Able to complete tasks in a timely manner
Significant use of memory
Knowledge of city and area an asset but not required
