As a Health Care Aide at Amica, you will work full time night shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, caring for seniors in a respectful and supportive manner. The core of your role involves meaningful interactions, enabling residents to thrive in their living settings while managing daily tasks with grace and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with their daily living activities
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Keep up with light housekeeping for resident areas
• Help facilitate engaging activities and dining experiences
• Build genuine connections with each resident
Requirements:
• Completion of recognized HCA/PSW program or nursing enrollment
• Current registration with BC Care Aide registry
• Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Certification in First Aid, CPR/AED
• Eagerness to learn and grow in caregiving
