In this role, the Safety Advisor will lead initiatives for the Darlington Recent Nuclear Project. You will be responsible for promoting safety culture, conducting training, and ensuring health and safety compliance on site. This position requires a proactive approach to managing safety risks and fostering an inclusive workplace workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage project-specific safety procedures
• Conduct audits and coaching sessions with staff
• Track safety-related incidents and manage corrective actions
• Facilitate health and safety committee meetings
• Prepare for and manage external safety audits
Requirements:
• CHSO or CRSP certification needed
• At least 5 years' experience in nuclear construction safety
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable to various work environments
• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
