Lead the CHEW Project at Boyle Street Community Services by providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed support to youth. This Program Manager role prioritizes inclusivity, safety, and collaboration in service delivery.
Reporting to the Director of okimaw peyesew kamik, the Program Manager ensures high-quality services for LGBTQIA2S+ youth up to 29 years old. You'll manage operations, mentor staff, and build partnerships within the community while aligning with organizational values. Your leadership will foster inclusive and effective care that meets the unique needs of the youth served.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion inclusive, affirming services for LGBTQIA2S+ youth
• Provide strategic leadership and align with BSCS objectives
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams through supervision and coaching
• Build partnerships with community and Indigenous organizations
• Coordinate referrals and maintain equitable service access
Requirements:
• Degree in social services or related field
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role
• First Aid Certificate or enrollment in training
• Recent Police Information Check and Child Intervention Records
• Experience with Indigenous cultures and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities
