The Metrology Technician will report to the Metrology Shop Supervisor and is a vital part of Avmax's avionics division. Candidates are expected to bring a solid background in electronics and hands-on mechanics, with at least three years in a production setting. You will play a key role in maintaining equipment accuracy and supporting operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Calibrate and repair electrical and mechanical measuring devices
• Use company resources for exact calibration work
• Maintain accurate customer documentation with Quantum
• Work collaboratively to drive departmental achievements
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
• Applicable two-year diploma required
• CCT designation or progress toward it is an asset
• Solid electronic background and testing equipment familiarity
• Previous Quantum software experience desired
• Must secure Transport Canada security clearances
