As a Janitor, you play a crucial role in maintaining the Community Centre's cleanliness and safety. This position involves cleaning, supply management, and minor maintenance. Additionally, you are responsible for setting up spaces for events and managing the janitorial supplies efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in common areas
• Disinfect sinks, toilets, and food preparation areas
• Conduct routine safety inspections and address concerns
• Support room setup and teardown for community events
• Organize janitorial storage and monitor supplies
Requirements:
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• WHMIS Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Previous janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Explicit Police Records Check required
