Saskatchewan Polytechnic is on the lookout for an Educational Psychologist to serve as an Accessibility Consultant. This pivotal role involves evaluating disability statuses and facilitating necessary accommodations for students.
In this position, you will conduct psycho-educational assessments, advise on assistive technology, and liaise with various learning services. Your responsibilities will also include leading workshops tailored to support students with disabilities while valuing a diverse educational landscape. This role needs robust problem-solving skills within a cooperative team context.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze documentation for reasonable accommodations
• Encourage self-advocacy among students with disabilities
• Support funding application processes for assistive equipment




• Conduct statistics recording and reporting for program heads
• Act as a resource liaison for disability advocacy
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Educational Psychology or progress towards it
• Skills in educational counseling within last two years
• Must be eligible for the Saskatchewan Psychologists College
• Solid interpersonal skills under emotional circumstances
• Awareness of Indigenous challenges affecting student support
