Gauge-Rite (2011) Inc. is searching for a Fixture Designer to contribute to high-quality precision checking fixture projects. In this role, reporting to the Director of Sales & Engineering, you will develop recent designs while modifying existing products per client specifications. Collaboration within a team of engineers ensures that quality and innovation are prioritized in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design fixtures from concept through to finished product
• Create 3D surfacing and detailed checking fixture designs
• Produce accurate 3D models and technical drawings
• Apply GD&T; principles to all designs
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and GRI standards
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of automotive fixture design experience
• Proficient in CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent
• Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
