Description

Deliverables: Infrastructure Asset Lifecycle Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for chairing all monthly client engagement calls for each cluster, as well as collecting and analyzing OS deployment data to produce meaningful collateral for these calls.

Producing collateral for internal/external Governance calls, including chairing the meetings.

Provide status updates, risks and issues to ITS/DCO/Client stakeholders, including but not limited to management, senior management, directors, cluster partners, etc.

Assist DCO financial teams in producing updated software support cost projections, cluster costs and developing recent cost models as products enter extended support or when publishers change their costs models.

Making further enhancements to the SRP client experience by creating enhanced data driven reporting, communications material, processes and helping clients identify paths forward to best reduce their software support costs.

Assisting with the modernization of the SRP and its services.

Creating RACI's and on-boarding activities.

Developing costing and pricing models.

Forecasting support and technical debt costs.

Tracking and reporting on refresh KPIs.

Development and continued iterations of reporting.

Stakeholder engagement and management, including process improvements.

Developing training and operational guides.

Coordinating enterprise architecture approvals.

SkillsExperience and Skill Set Requirements

Evaluation Breakdown:

1. Strategic Planning & Delivery Experience - 30%

Parameters:

10+ years experience in strategic delivery of complex solutions and/or data center infrastructure services or projects.

Demonstrated experience overseeing refresh and transition activities.





Demonstrated experience with replacement of large enterprise complex services and hardware at large critical locations.

Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge of modern Data Centre service models.

Demonstrated experience in strategic delivery development of operational readiness programs for large and complex organizations including cloud management.

Working experience with a Tier IV data centre facility/operations housing a dedicated 24x7x365 WINTEL/UNIX/Linux hosting service, on-premise private clouds.

2. Project Management Skills & Forecasting Experience - 20%

Parameters:

10+ years demonstrated experience in managing projects related to data center applications and server integrations.

Demonstrated experience leading major transformation and data centre projects, including cloud management.

Demonstrated experience managing concurrent projects and initiatives with competing priorities.

Demonstrated experience with software and financial forecasting and modeling using agile methods.

Demonstrated data analytic skills including a working knowledge of tools such as BI, SharePoint Online, Advanced excel skills, etc.

4. Documentation and Communication Skills - 20%

Parameters:

Demonstrated experience with assisting transition and hardware/software refresh activities.

Demonstrated experience in change management activities.

Demonstrated experience in providing presentations to executive stakeholders.

Demonstrated client engagement skills with strong documentation, writing, verbal and negotiation skills.

Must Haves:

Demonstrated experience overseeing software upgrades/refreshes and transition activities

Demonstrated data analytic skills including a working knowledge of tools such as BI, SharePoint Online, Advanced excel skills, etc.

Demonstrated experience with software and financial forecasting and modeling using agile methods.
