Join Spectrum Care as a full-time Community Support Worker in Hamilton, facilitating a protected and engaging workplace for children during our School Holiday Program. This role focuses on supporting children with learning disabilities through meaningful activities.
In this fixed-term position, you will be part of a dedicated team, working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Your primary responsibility is to create an inclusive setting where children can thrive. You will report to the Programme Leader and involve yourself in various activities that promote participation and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support children with learning disabilities in daily activities
• Facilitate fun and meaningful programming for participants




• Communicate effectively with colleagues and children
• Ensure a secure and secure environment during holiday programs
• Provide personal care assistance when needed
Requirements:
• Passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities
• Empathetic and reliable while working with children
• Strong communication skills with a positive attitude
• Certified in First Aid
• Ability to multitask in an energetic environment
