Empower Métis citizens as a full time Citizen Support Worker with Ma Faamii in Cumberland House. Navigate multi-agency systems and provide vital assistance for housing and health support.
This permanent position reports to the Ma Faamii Operations Supervisor. You will provide essential support for Métis citizens in accessing housing, mental and physical health services, and cultural resources. Collaboration with community agencies is key to ensuring effective services and support for families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist citizens with navigating multi-jurisdictional human services
• Develop a comprehensive provincial inventory of support services
• Build team-oriented relationships with community agencies
• Facilitate life skills development training for individuals and groups




• Support citizens returning from public services to their home communities
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in human services or equivalent experience
• Experience navigating public systems and community services
• Knowledge of intergenerational trauma and Indigenous challenges
• Effective communication skills in person and digitally
• Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and reliable transportation
