In this operator role, you will be pivotal in responding to various emergencies like spills and accidents. Your duties include managing traffic control and liaising with agencies like the OPP and EMS. Additionally, you will handle a variety of equipment for road maintenance and complete essential documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to emergency calls from MTO with urgency
• Provide traffic control at accident scenes
• Operate tractors, loaders, and service trucks
• Conduct daily equipment checks and minor repairs
• Complete incident reports and time sheets
Requirements:
• Valid Class DZ license is a must
• Knowledge of OTM book 7 and road maintenance
• Mechanically inclined for tool and equipment operation
• Available for on-call, day, and night shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
