Enhance the learning experience at the University of Manitoba as a Teaching Assistant in Human Anatomy. This role supports undergraduate education and requires effective English skills and empathetic interaction.
Starting on September 1, 2026, you'll assist in Year 1 Medicine UGME 1000 under the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, grading assignments, and consulting with students to address their concerns. Work hours range from 0 to 15 per week, with a set expectation of 8 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend orientation and planning meetings
• Prepare and present instructional materials
• Mark student work and exams accurately
• Maintain regular consultation hours with students
• Adapt materials and support course activities
Requirements:
• Completion of relevant academic studies
• Empathetic approach to student needs
• Proficient in English communication
• Preferred registration as a student in the relevant department
• Valid study permit for international students
