At Stantec, we seek an experienced skilled to enhance our enterprise database platforms. Your responsibilities will include the administration of Oracle databases, performance optimization, and lifecycle management. Work closely with DBA, middleware, and application teams ensuring system availability, performance, and security across various environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Oracle databases (19c and newer) in multiple settings
• Perform installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching
• Implement effective backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Monitor performance and tune SQL,



memory, and storage
• Provide Tier 3 support for database and APEX incidents
Requirements:
• 5–10+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
• Solid proficiency in Oracle APEX and ORDS administration
• Deep knowledge of PL/SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Experience with backup/recovery strategies (RMAN)
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
