As an Activity Worker 2, you will support residents in their social and recreational activities. Your responsibilities will include organizing outings and individual events, facilitating group activities like music, games, and sports, and collaborating with the Recreation Therapist to refine program activities. You will also oversee volunteers, keep activity areas organized, and help manage budgeting for outings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out group and individual activities under the Recreation Therapist
• Provide feedback during planning meetings on resident participation




• Accompany residents on community outings and events
• Organize materials for programs and advise on supplies needed
• Document resident comfort fund usage for outings
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education plus recreational course completion
• Two years of related experience or equivalent education
• Food Protected Certification 1
• Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Physical ability to perform job duties
