Strategically influence federal policy as the Director for Universities Canada. Lead impactful advocacy initiatives to enhance higher education through informed government relations.

Reporting to the Vice-President of Public Affairs, you will translate strategic priorities into evidence-based policy positions, ensuring rigorous accountability and execution across advocacy initiatives. Your expertise in navigating legislative processes will be vital for successful organizational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive advocacy through federal policy development
• Lead effective execution of government relations strategies
• Shape policies in alignment with key governmental cycles
• Produce and present high-quality policy documentation
• Ensure compliance with government opacity and ethics

Requirements:
• Degree in public policy or similar field
• 8+ years in governmental or political roles
• Experience managing multi-faceted policy areas
• Proven ability to analyze complex policy issues
• Bilingualism is preferable
