Job Overview Advanced Industrialization Lead – responsible for defining sourcing and manufacturing strategies for next‑generation sustainable components and leading engine Assembly & Testing activities. Based in Longueuil, QC, Canada. Flexible hours Monday‑Friday, with frequent travel.
Responsibilities Lead sourcing and manufacturing activities for critical components, modules, assembly systems, and tooling/testing systems required by new programs.
Collaborate with the Advanced Industrialization Director, OPE leads, project managers, and industrial engineers to plan and execute RLPM milestones and production readiness deliverables.
Define make/buy/partner strategies, develop/select partners, suppliers, and technologies (e.g., precision casting, machining, coatings, additive manufacturing).
Evaluate suppliers, partners, and production/assembly sites on quality, cost, reliability, capacity, skills, and emerging technologies.
Develop and implement dual/multi‑sourcing strategies, mitigate risks, and establish Factory Standard Cost (FSC).
Negotiate long‑term agreements covering pricing, non‑recurring costs, schedules, maintenance, tooling, and contract terms.
Initiate and monitor procurement, manufacturing, and assembly & test processes; manage suppliers, partners, and sites to ensure on‑time delivery.
Manage Line of Balance and work‑in‑progress reports, providing accurate progress updates to stakeholders.
Engage suppliers, partners, and sites early to optimize design and reduce costs via value engineering.
Track industrial milestones (FAI, PPAP, etc.) and ensure supply chain maturity aligns with program milestones.
Identify CapEx projects and prepare business cases; support TRL and MRL assessments for new technologies.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, aftermarket support, OPE, supply chain, manufacturing, and A&T; teams within Integrated Product Teams to ensure alignment.




Serve as primary contact for suppliers, partners, and sites, coordinating program requirements and expectations.
Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
Over 10 years of experience in supply chain management, manufacturing, or industrialization of aerospace engine components or similar demanding industries.
Strong knowledge of aerospace processes and materials (casting, machining, coatings, additive manufacturing, Inconel, titanium alloys, composites, etc.) and regulated industry processes.
Proven cross‑functional collaboration, project management (planning, cost control, risk mitigation), communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to influence complex multi‑site projects and lead change initiatives.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), sourcing tools, and supplier/partner/site performance tracking.
Fluency in French and strong English skills for documentation and communication.
Preferred: Experience with civil or military aerospace engine programs; familiarity with TRL/MRL frameworks; knowledge of automation, robotics, Industry4.0; CAD/CAM and PLM skills; Polish language; Six Sigma, Lean, or PMP certification.
