Contractor Sales Representatives partner with contractors to fully understand their needs and assist in planning construction projects. As knowledgeable sales professionals, they can make recommendations which solve customers’ problems.
For this position you will receive a base salary plus uncapped commission following a probationary period.
Responsibilities Demonstrate high standards of safety and customer service.
Serve as a resource for sales associates.
Produce quotes and material lists; follow up on deliveries.
Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
Maintain a contact list and scheduling plan for prospective and existing customers.
Grow the geographic sales area by building new relationships with contractors and strengthening existing accounts.
Continually learn about products and market conditions.
Qualifications Independent problem solver.
Confident,



energetic, and self‑motivated.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organized with ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to quickly develop a trusting relationship with current customers and build rapport with existing customers.
Experience in sales preferred.
Knowledge of lumber and building materials and the construction process an asset.
Bilingual – French/English.
