Join the impactful team at the Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Mental Health as a Child and Family Therapist. This position focuses on delivering essential outreach services to support families facing mental health challenges.
In this full time role within the Community Outreach & Intervention Initiative (COII), you will provide assessment and therapeutic services to children and families who may not engage with traditional treatment options. Working alongside a dedicated team, you will have the chance to facilitate therapy in community settings and promote mental wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with children and families in non-traditional settings
• Conduct assessments and provide ongoing treatment
• Facilitate therapy sessions and group interventions
• Coordinate with internal and external service providers
• Maintain thorough client documentation and tracking
Requirements:
• Post-graduate degree in mental health field
• At least three years of related clinical experience
• Proven skills in communicating therapeutic services
• Qualified College membership required
• Knowledge of MS Office and office equipment usage
