Become a Gas Compression Technician with Finning, working from our Red Deer facility. This role focuses on troubleshooting Caterpillar gas and diesel engines in both shop and field settings.
As a key member of the Finning team, you'll report to the Response Supervisor, ensuring effective repairs and maintenance on various engines. This permanent position requires a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification and a minimum of three years' experience in the field, particularly with Caterpillar products. You'll interface with customers and facilitate equipment repairs while maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar gas and diesel engines
• Collaborate with Supervisor and support safety requirements




• Maintain customer service commitments with clients
• Provide field service support as needed
• Complete various related duties efficiently
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Heavy Duty Technician
• Experience working out of a Service truck
• Completion of Finning S-level courses or in progress
• 5-year drivers abstract required
