Become a Drum Lessons Teacher with Long & McQuade in Cambridge, ON. This contract position requires availability on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends for teaching students of all ages.
As an independent contractor, you will primarily instruct drums at our in office Lesson Centre. Ideal candidates should possess a music degree, a minimum Grade 8 RCM standing, or professional equivalency. Teaching experience and knowledge of effective lesson curriculum and methods are essential to support diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach drum lessons to students of varying ages
• Develop engaging lesson plans based on individual needs
• Offer instruction in line with standard teaching methods




• Maintain student progress records and adapt lessons accordingly
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning workplace
Requirements:
• Music degree or diploma from a recognized institution
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments
• Previous teaching experience in a music setting
• Robust knowledge of teaching methods and curriculum
• Availability for lessons on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends
