In this standalone HR Consultant role at CBABC, you'll report to the CEO and serve a dedicated team of approximately 25 employees. Your responsibilities include leading recruitment, performance management, and ensuring compliance with employment laws in British Columbia. This position requires a strategic mindset and robust relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate positive interactions with staff for trust and credibility • Oversee recruitment and onboarding improvement initiatives • Offer strategic insights on compensation and training • Manage annual performance reviews and compliance updates • Facilitate exit interviews and document employee departures
Requirements: • Degree in Human Resources or related field • Minimum five years in HR, preferably in a consulting capacity • Solid understanding of BC employment legislation • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving abilities • Proficient in MS Teams and Excel is preferred
