Jardeg is currently recruiting forCarpenter Apprentices to work with Technical Workforce Inc. for theFish Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Calgary, AB!

This position is a 5 days on and 2 days off schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends. At this time, only local candidates will be considered.

As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will:
Assist with building forms for concrete
Cut, shape, and join
Look for and fix deficiencies
Check accuracy of work,and makes adjustments as required
Study blueprints for work planning
Construct and form chutes for pouring concrete
Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
Perform labourer duties in addition to carpentry work
Maintain clean, organized work areas; remove debris and hazards; support end-of-shift cleanup
Preference will be given to Registered Carpenter Apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority




Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
Experience with concrete formwork required

Fall Protection is an asset
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
