The City of North Bay is hiring two Tandem Truck Drivers for the Roads Department. This position involves operating snowplow trucks, performing maintenance, and completing reports under the direction of the Roads Supervisor. A valid Ontario class “D” driver’s license with a “Z” endorsement is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate tandem trucks for snowplowing and transport
• Complete pre-trip inspections and circle checks
• Maintain minor equipment and perform adjustments
• Assist in road maintenance and material transport




• Follow instructions from Roads Supervisor during operations
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent
• One year experience operating trucks over 18,000 GVW
• Valid Ontario class “D” driver’s license with “Z” endorsement
• Positive driving record and proficiency with tandem trucks
• Construction experience in road maintenance is a plus
