Stantec is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Energy and Resources team. You will engage in structural design for mining infrastructure, collaborating with diverse teams on complex projects. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform structural design and analysis for mining infrastructure • Develop designs using structural analysis software and hand calculations • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project execution • Mentor EITs and less experienced designers in their growth opportunities • Conduct quality assurance and prepare project specifications
Requirements: • Registered Professional Engineer with 12–15 years of experience • Proficiency in structural design codes and software (STAAD.Pro) • Excellent communication and time management skills • Field work experience in mining projects is preferred • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
