The Maintenance Aide position requires a hands-on individual for various maintenance duties essential to our Long-Term Care residence. You will bring one to two years of experience and a Grade 12 diploma, focusing on fixing equipment, plumbing, and conducting safety inspections. This role allows you to contribute positively to the well-being of seniors while performing skilled maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair equipment affecting resident care promptly
• Regulate plumbing fixtures and make necessary repairs
• Conduct inspections and maintain light fixtures
• Test circuits and appliances for safety compliance
• Assist with minor carpentry and various maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• One to two years of relevant maintenance experience
• Solid working knowledge of WHMIS
• Grade 12 diploma with technical training
