We are looking for a Workday HRIS Analyst to join our HR Systems and Support team at Medavie. The role focuses on supporting and optimizing our Workday platform, with a strong emphasis on Workday Absence Management.
Key Responsibilities Workday Configuration & Support – Configure, maintain, and support Workday Absence Management, including leave plans, eligibility rules, accruals, validations, notifications, and related configuration.
Workday Absence Support – Troubleshoot and resolve absence‑related issues, perform root cause analysis, and support timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
Trusted Advisor – Provide guidance on Workday absence functionality, best practices, and process improvements.
Benefits & Payroll Integration – Apply any Perks and/or Payroll configuration experience to support integrated solution design and cross‑functional issue resolution.
Collaboration & Business Analysis – Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for enhancements, projects, and operational initiatives, build working relationships, and guide on Workday capabilities and system functionality.
Testing & Release Management – Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for system enhancements, releases, and configuration changes; create and execute test scenarios, validate results, and review defect resolution activities.
Continuous Improvement – Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, compliance, and user experience; recommend and implement process and system improvements, and maintain documentation, job aids, and knowledge resources.
Key Qualifications College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience configuring and supporting Workday Absence Management.
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Workday Benefits and/or Payroll configuration (highly preferred).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
Experience supporting ticket resolution and day‑to‑day operational support.
Experience with system implementations, acquisitions, or enhancements is an asset.
Experience working in a multi‑unionized environment is an asset.
Experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related industry is an asset.
Workday certification(s) are an asset.
Pay Range 61,221 – 68,873 CAD per year
