As a senior leader within WSP’s mining practice, you will guide the design and evaluation of tailings storage and waste management systems. Key Responsibilities:
• Design and assess tailings storage facilities and waste systems
• Lead investigations supporting mine waste projects
• Provide strategic contributions to environmental risk planning
• Supervise projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Mentor and develop talent among junior engineers
Requirements:
• 10–15 years of relevant engineering experience
• Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering degree
• Must hold a P.Eng. designation in Canada
• Experience in tailings dam design and risk management
• Deep understanding of environmental regulations
