We are hiring a Supervisor - Crusher & Plant Operations. This role oversees crusher crew members and plant operations within our mobile crushing operations that travel throughout Saskatchewan. Camp accommodations are provided at site when working.
The Crusher Lead Hand plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and productive crushing operations. This position requires solid technical knowledge of aggregate production, equipment operations, and on-site leadership capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production targets, site efficiencies, and the ability to support and guide crew members in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Crushing Foreman in day-to-day site operations
Operate and oversee crushing spreads with minimal supervision when required
Monitor and improve production efficiency and site performance
Perform mechanical troubleshooting, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance on crushing equipment and plant systems
Delegate tasks and provide direction to crew members in a clear and effective manner
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with site safety standards and procedures
Assist in identifying and resolving operational or mechanical issues on site
Maintain strong communication with foreman and crew to ensure smooth operations
Schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off
Location: Primarily Saskatchewan-based sites
Wage: $35-$42/hour depending on experience
Overtime eligible.
LOA provided.
Requirements
Solid background in aggregate crushing operations
Proven understanding of production, throughput, and site efficiency principles
Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform repairs and maintenance on crushing plants
Experience working in a lead hand or supervisory capacity is an asset
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to direct crews effectively
Safety-focused mindset with a strong commitment to compliance and safe work practices
Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions on site
