IDN-Canada is looking for a full time Junior Accounts Receivable and Payable Associate in Toronto, ON. Support financial transactions and ensure accuracy in accounting processes.
This role, reporting to the Accounting Manager, focuses on both the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. You will play a crucial role in processing customer payments, managing vendor invoices, and maintaining financial records. Bring your accounting knowledge and attention to detail to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process customer payments via various methods
• Post transactions: cash, cheque, credit, and debit
• Prepare bank deposits and manage logs
• Investigate payment discrepancies with stakeholders
• Process vendor invoices and reconcile statements
Requirements:
• 1+ year in a related accounting role
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
