In this role, you’ll engage with clients suffering from substance use issues, working to provide access to opioid agonist therapy while promoting harm reduction principles. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you will assist clients through various services including appointment facilitation and perks acquisition. Your expertise will contribute to developing strategies for overdose prevention and harm reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Observe and monitor clients’ health and workplace
• Escort clients to necessary appointments and activities
• Facilitate access to opioid agonist therapy
• Develop connections with community services
• Attend meetings and support care planning
Requirements:
• Community Social Services diploma with 1 year relevant experience
• BC driver’s license and vehicle required
• Solid interpersonal skills in diverse settings
• Familiarity with health services in the Lower Mainland
• Crisis prevention and conflict resolution skills
