In this role reporting to the Property Controller, you will conduct daily audits to ensure the integrity of revenue postings and payment reconciliations. Responsibilities include investigating discrepancies and supporting various accounting functions as needed. Your role is critical in maintaining accurate financial operations in a positive team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Audit daily revenue postings and ensure accuracy
• Reconcile cash balances and tip accounts monthly
• Investigate variances in cash and credit card transactions




• Prepare journal entries for revenue postings
• Track daily gratuity and resolve accounting concerns
Requirements:
• Working knowledge of PMS software, Lightspeed/PEP preferred
• Previous hotel or food and beverage industry experience
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
