Become a vital part of the Huskie Women’s Hockey program as an Assistant Coach at the University of Saskatchewan. This role emphasizes athlete development, program execution, and academic excellence.
Working under the Head Coach, you will support the team’s competitiveness while fostering relationships within the athletics community. Key responsibilities will include designing practice plans, conducting individual training sessions, and analyzing game footage. Evening, weekend, and holiday work, along with some travel, will be necessary to fulfill program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Head Coach in enhancing team culture
• Execute practice plans aligned with performance goals
• Conduct individual skill and positional training
• Analyze and present scouting data for improvement
• Coordinate Huskies Prospects programming
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
• Previous coaching experience preferred
• NCCP certification or progress toward it
• Training in Protected Sport and Respect in Sport
• Clean Criminal Record Check required
