NVIT is seeking Term Instructors to deliver face-to-face courses for its unique Indigenous-centred BSW program. Applicants should have a minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience, focusing on Indigenous social work theory. Key responsibilities include effective classroom management and fostering meaningful connections with Indigenous communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver SOCW 306 and SOCW 402 courses
• Facilitate interactive learning for students
• Support Indigenous student engagement and retention
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development
• Contribute to community-building within the school
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work Degree (MSW)
• Minimum two years of college or university teaching
• Experience with Indigenous pedagogies and practices
• Familiarity with Moodle, Teams, and Outlook
• Solid interpersonal and team collaboration skills
