About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Environmental Site Professional to join our growing team in Alberta. This role is ideal for an intermediate to senior‑level skilled with a strong background in contaminated sites, hydrogeology, or environmental engineering/science, and a passion for technical excellence and mentorship.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) or contaminated sites.
Interpret hydrogeological and environmental data to support site characterization and risk assessment.
Provide senior technical review of reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
Support and mentor junior and intermediate staff.
Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to project planning, execution, and reporting.
Your Application Should Show Us
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting.
Professional designation: P.Eng., P.Geo., or P.Ag., or eligibility for immediate registration.
Strong working knowledge of Alberta regulatory frameworks, including Tier I and Tier II guidelines.
Interest or experience in business development with established client relationships in industry.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability and desire to mentor junior professionals.
Proven senior review capability with a high level of attention to detail.
Assets
Experience with MODFLOW and/or contaminant fate and transport modelling.
Background in remediation and complex site management.
Experience with physical hydrogeology (e.g., aquifer testing).
Interest or experience in business development and client relationship management.
