Description: Ledcor is hiring a Superintendent to oversee day‑to‑day field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

Demonstrate leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection, applying the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to ensure compliance with Ledcor HS&E; standards and relevant OH&S; acts.

Ensure project materials are supplied and work is completed in compliance with the Project Quality Program.

Verify that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes, maintaining quality standards.

Develop, maintain, and drive the construction schedule with the project team; ensure project milestones and completion dates are met.

Plan and implement manpower levels and material quantities, ensuring proper equipment and trades are available as required.

Provide guidance to project team members, contributing to their development and career growth.

Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support the project’s ongoing progression.

Oversee project reporting that accurately tracks site progress, events, inspections, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

8+ years of construction experience as a Superintendent or similar direct supervisory role on large‑scale construction projects.

Combination of work experience and/or technical training in an industry‑related trade or certification program.

Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures applicable to common construction processes.





Solid understanding of current construction practices; robust working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications and project management.

Proven ability to guide safe work practices in a high‑pressure environment while maintaining project quality, schedule, and budget.

Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, interpreting stakeholder needs and identifying solutions.

Capability to anticipate constructability issues in moderately complex situations and create solutions within the construction plan and schedule.

Facilitation and mentoring skills—ability to move the team forward and resolve conflict situations.

A track record of building successful teams and promoting teamwork through motivation, coaching, and consensus‑building.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with scheduling software.

Must have and maintain a valid provincial driver’s license.

Compensation:
$120,150.00 - $160,200.00

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
