Job Title: CI/CD Automation Specialist
Location: Calgary, Canada
Job Summary
We are seeking a hands‑on CI/CD Automation Specialist to join our team and support enterprise infrastructure and remediation programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong DevOps, Linux, and automation experience, with a focus on building and maintaining CI/CD automation workflows. This role requires collaboration with various teams, including platform, security, and remediation, to ensure seamless deployment and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and support CI/CD automation workflows to enhance deployment processes.
Manage and support package deployment activities across RHEL 7 to RHEL 9 environments.
Collaborate with platform, security, and remediation teams to ensure compliance and security best practices.
Implement and maintain automation scripts using shell scripting and other automation tools.
Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes for application deployment.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
Document processes, workflows, and best practices for CI/CD automation.
Mandatory Skills
Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
Strong experience in Linux administration, particularly with RHEL.
Expertise in shell scripting and automation techniques.
Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
Knowledge of RPM packaging and deployment processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
