Your role in Community Services will involve working directly with clients in crisis, offering support through comprehensive assessments and therapeutic solutions. You will not only provide crisis stabilization and counseling but also develop treatment plans that empower clients towards recovery. This position requires collaborative engagement with crisis response teams and adherence to qualified standards and ethical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis interventions
• Develop cooperative treatment and wellness plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for effective care
• Support community outreach and education projects
• Maintain up-to-date and confidential client records
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
• Minimum of three years in mental health services
• Experience in working with Indigenous communities preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours
• Criminal Record Check required for vulnerable sectors
