OnX Canada is working with a major bank seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their Capital Markets division for an initial 6‑month contract. The main focus of the role will be to deliver a global Process, Risk & Control (PRC) Inventory Enhancement initiative. This project will drive foundational enhancements to PRC records, secondary risk tagging, non‑key control capture, and operating model development, supporting regulatory and business requirements.

Duration: 6 months, high chance of extension

Location: Downtown Toronto – 4/5 Days in Office

Responsibilities

Engage with trading desks, support teams, and control owners to elicit, document, and validate business/control requirements.

Map controls, workflows, and resiliency measures across asset classes and geographies.

Maintain and update PRC documentation in repository for audit/regulatory readiness.

Analyze current‑state processes and controls, identify manual gaps, and propose enhancements.





Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, and Operational Risk stakeholders globally.

Support delivery of workstream milestones.

Top Skills

7+ years in Capital Markets

Experience working on Operational Risk programs within the Capital Markets space

Experience maintaining and updating PRC documentation in GRCE repositories for audit/regulatory readiness.

Experience working with Front Office, Risk, and Operational Risk stakeholders globally

Solid verbal and written communication skills are required
