This full time, seasonal position combines satellite communication engineering, troubleshooting, and maintenance of vital systems such as HF/UHF radios and scientific electronics. The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless connectivity for life-supporting communications and data transfer, contributing to scientific research and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair C-band satellite communication systems
• Monitor satellite link performance and manage issues
• Provide engineering support for system upgrades




• Install and service HF radio equipment
• Supervise antenna maintenance and perform repairs as needed
Requirements:
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• Experience in satellite and communication technology
• Robust skills in electronics troubleshooting
• Familiarity with safety standards in tower work
