This temporary role focuses on providing compassionate nursing care. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will prepare and administer medications, promote client self-care, and document relevant concerns. Collaborate with team members and provide guidance to unregulated care workers, while also completing assessments and care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer prescribed medications accurately as directed
• Document and manage client concerns and assessments
• Promote wellness through preventative health education




• Support unregulated care workers with training and guidance
• Complete care plans within required timeframes
Requirements:
• Registration as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS and Medication Administration Certificates
• Minimum one year of experience in Geriatric Nursing
• Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and health screenings
• Additional studies in Geriatrics is a plus
