In this role, you will report to the VP of People Practices & Consulting and will be responsible for implementing safety management systems while fostering a robust safety culture. Your proficiency in safety practices and ability to engage executives and stakeholders will be crucial in maintaining TELUS's leadership in workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor multi-disciplinary Safety team members
• Create and roll out organization-wide safety initiatives
• Analyze KPIs to improve operational effectiveness




• Serve as Safety authority for senior leadership interactions
• Oversee budget management for safety initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum 15 years in health and safety field
• 8 years of people management experience
• Collaboration experience in unionized environments
• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related
• Skilled certifications in health and safety a plus
