Join Recent Age Services as a Community Disability Practitioner at the Hawkmount Group Home in Northwest Calgary. This part time position involves overnight shifts and requires a compassionate approach in supporting individuals with complex medical and developmental needs.
As a key part of our team, you'll provide essential personal care, administer medications, and assist with daily living activities. You'll engage individuals in community and recreational activities, promoting independence and dignity in their lives. Your role is critical to ensure quality and compassionate care for those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with personal care and hygiene needs
• Follow care plans and administer medications
• Help with meal preparation and housekeeping
• Engage individuals in community activities
• Provide transportation to appointments and programs
Requirements:
• Diploma in Human Services or a related field
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
• Emergency First Aid and CPR Level A
• Proficiency in computer and documentation skills
• Preferred experience with behavioral supports
