This full time role reports to the Group Leader of Execution and Infrastructure, focusing on non-routine tasks. You will assess potential modifications in flowsheets and troubleshoot operational and maintenance challenges across all plants in Trail. Your adaptability to changing priorities and collaboration with a technical team will be essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute technical investigations on plant processes
• Develop and manage test execution plans and trials
• Operate and modify laboratory and pilot plant equipment
• Submit detailed reports on findings and data analysis
• Train and mentor technical staff and students
Requirements:
• Degree in metallurgical or chemical sciences required
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in metallurgy
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant data systems
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
