AgeCare is seeking a Health Care Aide who will work under the supervision of a Staff Nurse. This role requires compassion and solid communication skills, serving residents through bathing, feeding, and assisting with mobility. You will enhance residents' quality of life by delivering secure care and maintaining their comfort according to individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bath and assist residents for personal comfort
• Help residents with mobility and transfers safely
• Feed and assist residents during mealtimes
• Provide routine treatments as directed by nursing staff
• Accompany residents to activities and therapy sessions
Requirements:
• One year of related experience preferred
• Completion of recognized Personal Care Aide Certificate
• Active registration with CLHA of Alberta
• Fluent in English, oral and written
• Post-secondary education is an asset
