We have an immediate opening for the position of Part-Time Amusement Associate. This position is for the Toy Box location at the Pacific Mall in Markham. You will be expected to work a variable schedule which will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Job Duties
Provide exceptional and friendly guest service
Obtain payment for playcard purchases in the form of debit and credit
Maintain cash out operations by following policies and procedures
Upsell playcards to maximize guest service
Redeem prizes for guests at the Redemption counter and obtain e‑tickets as payment
Maintaining redemption operations by following policies and procedures
Restocking of merchandise
Address and rectify guest comments and concerns
Assist in maintaining presentation and working condition of the facility including its amusement equipment, redemption counter, storage areas, etc.
Assist in maintaining stock levels of supplies for all game locations and Games Rooms
Ensure the Games Rooms exceeds the cleanliness standard.
Requirements
Legally able to work in Canada
Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, as required.
Works well in a busy workplace
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work under pressure while complying with all relevant legislation
Some mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, customer service, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
Energetic and enthusiastic personality
Self‑motivated with solid work ethic
Experience with monitoring and controlling inventory an asset
Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems will be considered an asset
