About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its organization through a pivotal phase of development. The successful candidate will be a passionate, dynamic, and visionary qualified, responsible for providing strategic direction, financial oversight, and community representation.
This role is pivotal in galvanizing the full philanthropic potential of the community, inspiring and strengthening all members, and sustaining important partnerships, particularly in a post-October 7 environment. The Executive Director will also be tasked with overseeing the creation and execution of a diverse programming calendar, managing the organization's internal operations, and ensuring the relevance of the collaborative lay/professional partnership.
Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior management role, with a proven track record in fundraising and a strong background in business or managerial experience, preferably within a not-for-profit organization.
The role requires superior interpersonal, management, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a team builder, with strong collaboration and consensus-building skills, and the ability to lead in a crisis and manage change initiatives.
A degree or diploma in a related field is required, and an intimate knowledge of the local community is essential. The Executive Director must be dedicated to the completion of tasks within agreed-upon timelines, with a versatile work schedule and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
