The ICCIT at UTM is seeking qualified candidates to fill Sessional Lecturer roles. Responsibilities include designing and teaching university-level courses, supervising teaching assistants, and managing assessments. Ideal candidates should hold a graduate degree, preferably a PhD, and have previous teaching experience in the relevant subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and teach Communication, Culture, Information & Technology courses
Supervise teaching assistants assigned to the courses
Develop and mark assignments and exams
Submit grades to university officials following policies
Hold regular office hours for student support
Requirements:
Completed graduate degree in the subject area (PhD preferred)
Proven excellence in teaching at undergraduate level
Experience in supervising teaching assistants required
Solid research record relevant to subject matter
Not currently a University of Toronto student
