Specialist Representative – Bodily Injury / Casualty Claims (ONTARIO ROLE)
LOCATIONS - WATERLOO, OTTAWA, MISSISSAUGA, TORONTO

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Claims Professionals to join a high-performing National Casualty and Bodily Injury team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of complex third‑party Bodily Injury and Casualty claims across Auto, Property, and Commercial lines.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned adjuster who thrives in a challenging workplace and is passionate about continuous learning, collaboration, and mentorship. You will play a key role in investigating, negotiating, and resolving high‑value claims, while contributing to a strong, team‑oriented culture.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of complex Bodily Injury, Casualty, and General Liability claims

Lead thorough investigations, negotiations, and settlements of claims

Collaborate with internal stakeholders including underwriting, reinsurance, actuarial, and senior leadership

Represent the organization in litigation, mediations, and alternative dispute resolution processes

Provide technical guidance, training, and support to team members

Mentor and coach junior staff, contributing to team development

Maintain professionalism and strong relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues

Adapt to a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high‑quality work under pressure

Qualifications & Experience

University degree,



college diploma, or completed CIP designation

8–10+ years of general claims handling experience

Minimum 4 years handling complex CGL and/or Bodily Injury claims

Strong experience with litigation, mediation, and arbitration

Proven ability to manage complex claims independently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
